POSITION SUMMARY:

We are a stable, family-owned manufacturing company operating a 76,000 square foot industrial facility in Maple Shade, NJ. We take pride in maintaining a high-quality operation and are looking for a dependable, highly skilled maintenance professional to help support our growing manufacturing environment.

This is not an entry-level maintenance position. We are seeking a hands-on industrial maintenance technician with strong electrical troubleshooting experience who can operate independently and contribute at a high level in a demanding manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate is a dependable, high-level industrial maintenance professional with strong electrical troubleshooting skills who takes ownership, works with urgency, and can confidently support a complex manufacturing operation with minimal direction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Facilities Manager in all aspects of industrial facility and equipment maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems and manufacturing equipment
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility infrastructure
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and machine documentation
  • Troubleshoot motors, relays, contactors, sensors, controls, and industrial power distribution systems
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvement projects
  • Coordinate with production personnel to minimize downtime
  • Maintain safe work practices and follow all plant safety procedures
  • Support general building and facility maintenance as required

A strong candidate for this position will possess the following:

    • Local to Maple Shade, NJ or surrounding area
    • Strong industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Significant hands-on industrial electrical troubleshooting and repair experience
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working on industrial manufacturing equipment
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple maintenance demands in a fast-paced environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
  • Maintenance Experience with: CNC machinery, Stamping presses, Industrial furnaces, Grinding equipment, Hydraulic systems, Pneumatic systems, PLC-controlled equipment
  • Experience using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment
  • Formal electrical training or electrician background strongly preferred
  • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work throughout a 76,000 square foot manufacturing facility
  • Ability to safely work around industrial machinery and equipment
